Mr Alireza Valizadeh of BCAST has won the 2018 Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Frank Fitzgerald Medal and Travel Award.
This award is given to a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining who is under 35 years of age and is active in the field of iron and steel. Ali demonstrated excellence in, and commitment to, continuing his professional development in the form of depth and breadth of technical knowledge and in his personal contribution to promoting this profession.
The prize consists of a medal which will be presented to Ali in October and a travel scholarship with a value of £1,500.
