Founded at Brunel University London

BCAST was established to advance research and innovation in solidification science and liquid metal engineering.

2010

Launch of EPSRC Centre LiME

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Centre for Liquid Metal Engineering was inaugurated, marking a major collaboration between academia and industry.

2016

Creation of the Future LiME Hub

BCAST expanded its vision through the Future LiME Hub, focusing on sustainable metal processing and circular economy solutions.
