BCAST Professor Receives Technology Award from TMS Light Metals Division

Professor in Solidification Research, Dmitry Eskin is the newest recipient of The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) Light Metals Division Technology award.

The annual award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding long-term service to the light metals industry by consistently providing technical and/or operating knowledge that has enhanced the competitiveness of the industry.

“It is a great honour for me to be a recipient of the TMS Light Metals Technology award” said Dmitry.  “TMS gives the unique opportunity to communicate the results of research to a large and dedicated community of scientists, engineers and industrialists.  I have a very satisfying feeling, receiving this award, that my research is recognized and well received by the light metals community.”
